Chemical sunscreens utilize chemicals like oxybenzone, avobenzone, octisalate, octocrylene, homosalate, or octinoxate to soak up UV radiation and attempt to change it's frequency so it doesn't jack up your cells. Some of these chemicals have been associated with coral reef bleaching and potentially harmful side effects to your hormonal and cellular health.
FACE STUFF utilizes zinc oxide which acts as a physical mineral barrier between your skin and harmful UV radiation. So, instead of soaking up nasty radiation like chemical sunscreens, Zinc Oxide helps your skin reflect it.*
